My grandmother, whom I was very close to, died a week ago today. I had the honor and privilege of being with her as she left this world and went to be with her Lord, Jesus. It was not hard to let her go, because she desperately wanted to go home. The sorrow I feel is not for her–I know she is happy, healed, and whole. No, the sadness I carry now is for me, because I miss her so much.
Taste and see that the Lord is good; Blessed is the man who trust in Him.
So do not fear, for I am with you; Do not be dismayed, for I am your God.....
